OUR PRICES INCLUDE:
The specified services in each itinerary, including tickets for both ground and railway services, airport, terminals and hotels shuttle services, visits and guided tours with tickets.
OUR PRICES DOES NOT INCLUDE:
Extras, personal and/or sickness, expenses, airport taxes, excess baggage, dogs or any other transportation of animals, nor any other similar expenses. Airline tickets are not included.
PRICE LIST
Our price lists are annually published and are valid for that year.
All the indicated prices in the programs are based on current rates.
Payments have to be made in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice (when reservations are made long before the trip, modifications might occur based on governmental decisions). In case of change of prices, the passenger should pay the difference before the tour. All tours must be fully paid before they begin.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations will only be re-confirmed through an advance payment of 35% of the total program value. The outstanding amount must be paid before the beginning of the trip.
CANCELLATIONS
In case the client cancels the trip thirty days prior to departure, he will have to pay management and cancellation expenses, if any, up to a maximum of 10% of the total tour price, in concept of administrative expenses. If cancellation occurs thirty to fifteen days prior to departure, compensation expenses may be up to 30% of the total tour price. If cancellation occurs fifteen to three days prior to departure, compensation may be up to 50% of the total tour price. Finally, if cancellations are made during any of the last three days prior to departure, 100% of the package tour will have to be paid.
LUGGAGE
The tour operator will transport one regular size piece of luggage and one hand luggage per person. In case of availability to transport additional luggage without any cost for the tour organizer or local tour operator, it will be transported without any additional cost. Otherwise, the client will have to pay for the excess luggage.
In regular cases, total amount of luggage will not have to exceed 30kg.
For railway trips, 20kg. of luggage are transported free of charge, except for railway trips to Machu Picchu, in which, due to transport companies' policies, only up to 8kg. of hand luggage are allowed.
When travelling by plane, the maximum luggage weight allowed depends on the airline policy (In general, 25kg. is the maximum weight allowed).
Luggage and other personal effects belonging to the client are not covered by the contract with the tour agency and passengers should keep them at all times, in any part of the transportation vehicle. Passengers transport their luggage and they have to take care of it. The organizer has no contractual liability should luggage be lost or damaged due to any eventuality during the trip, specially during trips in public transportation such as buses, trains, ships, national and international airlines, etc.
PASSPORT, VISA AND SANITARY REQUIREMENTS
We remind all customers that it is always necessary to carry a valid passport as well as to comply with all the rules and requirements regarding visas before leaving their country of residence in order for them to be able to enter the countrie(s) they are going to visit. The same reminder applies for the need to comply with valid sanitary requirements at the moment of contracting a tour. The expenses related are in charge of the customer.
The tour operator is not liable should entrance to any given country be denied to a customer. The expenses related are in charge of the customer according to the obligations assumed by the tour operator as regards the agreement with third parties.
ITINERARY CHANGES AND HOTELS
The tour operator reserves the right to modify the itinerary at any moment, specially if necessary in order to guarantee the passenger's comfort and safety. Likewise, the tour operator reserves the right to change suggested hotels by others that are similar and in the same category, as well as the tours departing hours.
REFUNDS
All refund claims have to be made to the corresponding sales office, up to sixty days after the end of the tour, being that sales office the responsible of performing a refound, if applicable. No refunds will be made for services that were not used voluntarily by the passenger. Refunds will be made according to the cost of the services that were cancelled or not used. If, due to justified reasons, the tour operator was obliged to cancel the tour, only its cost will be refunded. In any case, refund claims will have to be attached to a note from the tour guide or the staff of the local tour operator indicating the services that were not used and the corresponding reasons.
RESPONSIBILITY
The tour operator explicitly declares that he acts only as an intermediary between passengers and the entity or people that provide specific services such as transport companies, hotels, restaurants, etc. Airlines or maritime companies, as well as other kinds of transportation companies, will not be responsible for events that could occur while a passenger is not be using their services. The passenger's ticket constitutes the only legal commitment between transportation companies and/or a passenger.
