PAT TK 112 COTAHUASI GREAT CANYON (4D / 3N)  (Read Full Program)

Considered the deepest canyon in Peru and in the World (3,354 meters deep) with its lowest section ideal for regular trips for the most part of tourists. The river has different rapids with interesting challenges for any adventurer, besides offering spectacular geography with important archeological remains from ancient cultures not yet studied.

Day 1: AREQUIPA / COTAHUASI.
06:30 Exit from Arequipa towards the valley of Majes. Visit the Lagoon of Pallarcocha. Continue the trip until the viewpoint of the Valley of the Cotahuasi. Upon arrive, accomodation in the hostal.

Day 2: COTAHUASI / TAURISMA / TOMEPAMPA / ALCA.
Breakfast. Exit to the ruins of Collota, long walk of 20 minutes until the town of Taurisma.
Excursion to the town of Alca. Lunch.
In the evening, return to Cotahuasi. Supper in local restaurant.

Day 3: WATERFALLS OF SIPIA
07:00 Breakfast. Long walk of approximately 2 hours by a smooth zone, the Waterfalls of Sipia with 150 meters. This day will be enjoyed the majesty of the Cotahuasi while it is walked by the bottom and we had lunch next to the river. (Picnic).
It visits the Baths of Luicho to relax and to rest. Supper. Lodging.

Day 4: COTAHUASI / AREQUIPA
Breakfast in the morning, then return to Arequipa. In the route, you will rest at the lodge of Majes River; you can hire rafting service, if they wish. Lunch.
At 18:00 hrs approximately arrival to Arequipa,

One of the deepest canyons in the World (3,287 meters deep) with its walls sheltering an almost virgin ecosystem that can only be accessed from the river. Its geography becomes an open book to scholars and nature lovers.

Day 1 - AREQUIPA / COLCA
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the canyon to visit the snow-covered, pampa Cañahuas, Sumbay and Vizcachani. Then we go through the typical towns of Tuti, Sibayo and Callali. Thermal baths of La Calera, close to the river. Lodging in the Canyon zone.

Day 2 - COLCA CANYON / AREQUIPA
Breakfast. Excursion to the observatory “Cruz del Condor” to appreciate the flight of the Condores and the depth of the Canyon. Back to Arequipa, we can appreciate the beautiful “andenerias Incas”, and the other Pinchollo town river.

Note: In this destination we have combined programs of trekking and rafting. For these programs you need to be healthful and have a good training before you realize it.
