Founded on August 15, 1540, Arequipa is the second city located in the southern part of the country at 2,230 meters of altitude. Its weather is dry and mild during the day and cool during the night allowing for sunny days most of the year. Arequipa is also known, as “the white city” because of its buildings made of a white volcanic stone called “sillar”. This architecture had a great Spanish influence during the colonial times and remains until these days. The city is surrounded by beautiful countryside called “La Campiña” with picturesque places, some of which offer the opportunity to enjoy trekking, cycling, river rafting, etc.

Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion passing through Chachani, Pampa Cañahuas, National Reserve of Vicunas, the Colca Windows, The Mollepunco Cave until Volcano Watching. Transfer to the hotel. Afternoon, visit to thermal water spring.

Day 3: “CRUZ DEL CONDOR” LOOKOUT EXCURSION
Breakfast in the hotel. Visit to Cruz of the Condor Viewpoint, Typical Village of Yanque, Maca, Hangers tombs, Pre-incas Platforms etc.
Back to Arequipa.

Day 4: AREQUIPA……….
