Chiclayo is the capital of the Department of Lambayeque and is located in the northern coast of Peru at 22 meters of altitude. It was founded in 1553 and with its warm and pleasurable weather is a center of great commercial activity.

Chiclayo is the cradle of the Lord of Sipan who was a dignitary and priest in the Valley of Lambayeque. The discovery of The Lord of Sipans’ tomb became the most important one of the last times. It has been compared with that of the tomb of the Maya Prince Paijal, and in a lesser degree with the discovery of the tomb of the Pharaon TutanKamon.

The city of Chiclayo is closely related to Peruvian Folk Medicine practiced by Witches and Healers.

DDay 1:..CHICLAYO –ROYAL TOMBS OF LORD OF SIPAN MUSEUM TOUR.
Transfer to the airport or bus station. Logging at the hotel. P.M. Visit to the Royal Tombs of Lord of Sipan Museum.
 
The exhibition shows the Lord with all his jewlery, some Mochicas warriors’ tombs Moches and important pieces of gold.
 
The Museum architecture was inspired in the antique mochica Santuaries.


Day 2: SICAN MUSEUM TOUR. CHICLAYO… (Lima)
Breakfast in the hotel.
Tour to the Sican National Museum.
Transfer to the airport or bus station

Transfer to the airport or bus station. Logging at the hotel.

Day 2: SICAN MUSEUM TOUR - TUCUME ARCHEOLOGICAL CENTER
Breakfast in the hotel.
Tour to the Sican National Museum. It was an effort of 23 years of researching. Lunch Included.
P.M. Visit to the Tucume Complex, It is located in the north of Chiclayo. Mystical place where we can find architectural manifestations and town customs.
Return to the hotel.

Day 3: CHICLAYO ……. ( Lima)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 1: CHICLAYO
Transfer to the airport or bus station to travel to Chiclayo. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: HUACA RAJADA EXCURSION / SIPAN
Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to Huaca Rajada, Sipan and the Bruning National Archeological Museum of Lambayeque. (If the museum is still on remodeling, it will substitute by Sican museum)

Day 3: TUCUME EXCURSION / BACK TO LIMA
Breakfast in the hotel. Visit the archeological complex of Tucume and transfer to the airport or to the bus station to return to Lima.
