Cuzco is a city located at the southeastern part of the Peruvian Andes, within the Huatanay river valley at 3400 meters of altitude. It was founded as the capital of the Incas Empire, from where their culture was expanded to the rest of their territory. The weather in Cuzco is relatively moderate all year round, dry and warm during the day and cold at night. It is quite rainy during the period from January to March and drizzle between November to January and April.
 
This city, besides its archaeological richness, shows a colonial semblance with beautiful churches, convents and old houses with great cultural, folkloric, mystic and gastronomic traditions. Cuzco offers a variety of scenaries that allow to practice sports activities such as: trekking, river rafting, Andean climbing, cycling, horseback riding, etc., which performed in an atmosphere of the archaeological remains, takes one to an enchanted and mysterious world.
