The city of Ica, founded in 1563, is the capital of the Department
of Ica and is located in the southern part of the Peruvian coast
at approximately 300 kilometers from Lima and 456 meters of
altitude. Ica offers a variety of touristic attractions including
historical traditions, its natural beauty with a combination of
colorful countryside, deserts, dunas, medanos and exceptional
landscaping. Nearby Ica, you will find the famous locations of
Paracas and Nasca:
PARACAS:
Paracas is a beautiful spot with excellent climate and beaches,
where we can visit the National Paracas Reserve which presents
beautiful bio-geographic characteristic including a sea life with
a great variety of fish and other species typical of the area, as
well as resident and migratory birds.
NASCA:
Nasca is a city located at approximately 130 kilometers from Ica
where we can find the famous Nasca Lines: mysterious markings on
the sand spreading over an area of 350 square kilometers. These
lines feature several animals and plants in dimensions that range
from 15 to 300 meters long and were designed by ancient Peruvians.
Nor time, nor natural disasters have been able to erase them so
far.

Day 1: NASCA / NASCA LINES
Pick up
at the hotel in Lima and travel to the city of Nazca on a private
vehicle or by a regular bus service to Ica and from Ica on a
private service to Nasca.
Take a plane to flight the Nazca Lines.
Return to Ica or Pisco for lodging.
Day 2: BALLESTAS ISLAND
Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to the port to board the
boat to Islas Ballestas, you will aprecciate a variety of fauna.
Return to Lima.

Day 1:
NASCA
Pick up at the hotel in Lima and travel to the city of Nazca
by regular bus service to Ica. Transfer to the hotel
Day 2: NASCA LINES
Transfer from Ica to Nazca. Overflight on Nasca Lines.
PM. Travel to Paracas for lodging. Stopping in Ica for a city
tour.
Day 3: BALLESTAS ISLAND
Early in the morning, transfer to the pier to board the boat
to Islas Ballestas. You wil appreciate the variety of fauna. In
the afternoon, return to Lima.
