Iquitos, founded in 1600, is the capital of the department of
Loreto and is located at the north-eastern region of Peru. Its
climate is tropical, warm and humid, with an average temperature
of 28 degrees Centigrade. The city lies on the banks of an
Amazonas River branch and is surrounded by rivers and small
channels. Nearby, is the Amazonas River which is navigated by
different types of boats offering a variety of excursions while
enjoying nature in its wildest status.

Day 1: IQUITOS / LODGE
Transfer
to the hotel / airport/ Port Check-in at the lodge, lunch; walk
through the jungle to visit an Indian tribe. Dinner and take a
night ride in a canoe.
Day 2: LODGE / IQUITOS….
Bird watching tour. Breakfast at convenient time, return to
Iquitos for a transfer to the airport.

Birdwatching tour. Breakfast, return to Iquitos.
Transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Day 1:IQUITOS LODGE IN THE JUNGLE
Reception, brief city tour and transfer to the port to navegate
the Amazon River.
PM: Excursion to the primary jungle. Dinner
Day 2: LODGE IN THE JUNGLE
AM. Excursion on boat for watching the Pink Dolphins River or
visit a Tribal group from the peruvian Amazon. In the evening free
time to enjoy the enviroments of the lodge.
Day 3:LODGE IN THE JUNGLE - IQUITOS
Am. Long walks or strolls through the jungle. Transfer until the
airport of Iquitos.

Day 01 IQUITOS / AMAZONAS SINCHICUY LODGE
Reception,
brief city tour and transfer to the port to navigate on the
greatest world river, the Amazonas.
“Welcome drink” made with some exotic fruit.
Short walk or canoe ride to the Yagua tribe community.
Visit a fishfarm to observe native ictiological
Evening excursion…/Amazon legends…
At indicated time, evening canoe ride or walk to sense the jungle

Day
02 AMAZONAS SINCHICUY L. /TAMBO YANAYACU LODGE
Breakfast. Primary jungle reserve exploring in the Yanayacu
River ecosystem.
Sail on the Amazon to spot pink river dolphins, main character of
fantastic stories and legends from the Amazon myths.
Excursion to Huashalado village, short walks to the Yanayacu River.
Arrival in the Tambo Yanayacu Lodge. Lunch.
Hike in jungle-trail or canoe ride –according to the season-
through primary jungle.
Return to the Amazonic Tambo Lodge. Dinner. (BLD)
Day 03 TAMBO YANAYACU LODGE
AM. Birdwatching on the Yanayacu River.
Breakfast at the Tambo Yanayacu Lodge.
Excursion to Yagua Cocha (oxbow). Walk in lower forest where you
will see a variety of plants and insects.
Return to the lodge. Lunch.
PM. VISIT to a local village to observe their customs and way of
life. Return to the lodge. Dinner.
Overnight. (B.L.D.)
Day 04 TAMBO YANAYACU LODGE / IQUITOS / LIMA
Breakfast.
Return to Iquitos. At convenient time, transfer to the airport or
hotel.
PAT 0168 - CRUCERO POR EL AMAZONAS (4 D – 3 N)

Iquitos / Leticia / Tabatinga. Departures Sundays: 12:00 pm
Day 1-Sunday: Transfer* from the airport/hotel to dock.
Board the M/V Amazonas River.
PM. Stop at Yanamono to visit a sugar cane still, short walk at
Chamaleon Island to observe water Lilies.
Day 2-Monday: Am. Birdwatching at the Ampiyacu river. Visit
the “Bora” and “Huitoto” villages. Visit the town of Pevas. PM.
Jungle hike through the dense rain forest at the Shishita river
with chances to see wildlife.
Day 3-Tuesday: Jungle walks and visits to Paranaquiro
village, piranha fishing expedition on a small black water lake.
PM, a brief visit to the missionary village at Caballo Cocha.
After sunset, cross the lake to look for the Amazon cayman’s eyes.
Day 4-Wednesday: AM. Arrival to Santa Rosa Island, Peru
opposite to Leticia/Tabatinga cities.
Transfer* to a hotel or airport in Leticia or Tabatinga
NOTE:
