Puno is located in the south-eastern part of the country at 3,827 meters of altitude on the banks of the Titicaca Lake, which is the world’s highest navigable lake connecting Peru and Bolivia with a particular beauty and full of mistery characteristic of this mythical place. Puno was founded in 1668 and is known as the folkloric capital of Peru as well as the cradle of the Inca’s legend. Puno’s weather has two main seasons: rainy between December and April and dry between May and September, it is mild during the day and cold at night.

Transfer hotel/airport/hotel in Puno.
On the way, visit Sillustani


Day 2: TAQUILE ISLAND
Breakfast. Navigating over the Titicaca Lake, visit the Taquile island. Visit Uros island.


Day 3: PUNO
Breakfast and transfer to the airport or to the train or bus station.
 
NOTE: We offer optional transfers to La Paz, by bus or crossing the Titicaca Lake.

Day 1: JULIACA / SILLUSTANI
Transfer Hotel/airport/ hotel in Puno.
On the way, visit Sillustani.

Day 2: PUNO / LA PAZ
Breakfast in the hotel.
AM trip to La Paz. On the way, Visit city of Copacabana (at around 11:00 hrs)
At 14:30 hrs, board the aliscafo; visit the Sun and The Moon Islands.
Visit Huatajata where the bus will pick us up to travel to the city of La Paz.

Day 3: CITY TOUR
Breakfast in the hotel. City tour around la La Paz,


Day 4: LA PAZ / PUNO
Breakfast. At 08:00 hrs. Departure to Puno, on the way to Tiwanacu. Upon arrival to Puno, lodging accommodations and stay overnight.


Day 5: PUNO…
Breakfast and transfer to the airport or to the train station.
