LIMA - PARACAS – ICA – NASCA – AREQUIPA – CUSCO – PUERTO MALDONADO – PUNO - LIMA - HUARAZ - TRUJILLO – CHICLAYO – PIURA – LIMA (23 D / 22 N)

Day 1: LIMA
Transfer to the hotel. Free day.
OPTIONAL: City Tour. Courtesy of Peru A Travel.

Day 2: LIMA / PARACAS / NASCA
Breakfast. Then, Travel to Paracas in order to take a boat to go to The Ballestas Islands. Pm. City tour in Ica and transfer to Nasca and accommodation in the hotel.

Day 3: NASCA - OVERFLIGHT / AREQUIPA
Breakfast. Early in the morning, overflight the enigmatic Nasca Lines. Departure to Arequipa. Transfer to the hotel

Day 4: AREQUIPA / SANTA CATALINA
Breakfast, City tour + Santa Catalina´s Convent.

Day 5: AREQUIPA/CUSCO / CITY TOUR AND NEARBY RUINS
Breakfast. Transfer hotel/ airport / hotel in Cusco.
PM. City Tour.

Day 6: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS
Breakfast, Excursion to this Sacred Valley. Stop for lunch. Return to Cusco.

Day 7: MACHUPICCHU
Breakfast. Transfer to the train station. - Guided excursion to Machu Picchu. Return to Cusco. (Optional stay overnight at the hotel in Machu Picchu).

Day 8: CUSCO / PUERTO MALDONADO.
Arrival to Puerto Maldonado. Transfer to the lodge. A box-lunch is provided on board. PM. walks into the "terra firma" forest behind the lodge. Dinner at night walk to find nocturnal animals or insects by their eye-shine, a specialization for increasing light and seeing better. (L,D)

Day 9: HIKE TO THE CONDENADO LAKE.
Breakfast. Short journey to the trail head to begin a morning's exploration by foot and paddle canoe of the lake system of Condenado, rich in bird and aquatic life.
 
PM.The afternoon is for exploring the forest close to the lodge. After dark you will go searching for caiman (alligators) and other nocturnal animals by motorized canoe along the Tambopata River. (B,L,D)

Day 10: LODGE PUERTO MALDONADO
Departure. A dawn start is required for the canoe trip back to Puerto Maldonado. Look out for the early morning wildlife, which is particularly active at this time. Howler monkeys are frequently heard. Your guide will take care of you on arrival in Puerto Maldonado and will deal with all the necessities at the airport prior to your departure to CUSCO. (B)
Transfer to the hotel. Free time.

Day 11: CUSCO / PUNO (Can be by Air)
AM, transfer to the train or bus station to travel to Puno. Travel almost all day (8.00 hrs)

Day 12: TAQUILE / UROS ISLAND
Breakfast in the hotel, tour to the Taquile Island. Visit the floating islands of the Uros constructed with "totora".

Day 13: SILLUSTANI - JULIACA / LIMA
Breakfast, Visit to the archeological center of Sillustani to appreciate the pre-Incas tombs known as "Chullpas", transfer to the airport of Juliaca to board the flight to Lima (optional: trip to La Paz, Bolivia).

Day 14: LIMA / HUARAZ
Breakfast in the hotel, trip to Huaraz (travel for approximately 8 hours).

Day 15: HUARAZ / CHAVIN DE HUANTAR
Breakfast, start the trip towards the town of Chavin de Huantar. Stop for lunch, and return to Huaraz.

Day 16: HUARAZ / TRUJILLO
Breakfast, departure Trujillo. (On the way, visit the archeological ruins of Sechin - only for private service). Arrival in Trujillo and check-in for lodging accommodations.

Day 17: TRUJILLO / CHAN CHAN / HUACA DEL SOL Y LUNA
Breakfast in the hotel. At 09:00 hrs, departure to visit Chanchan.
PM, visit the "Huaca" of the Sun and the "Huaca" of the Moon.

Day 18: TRUJILLO / CHICLAYO - SEÑOR DE SIPAN
Breakfast, departure to Chiclayo, visit the archeological center of "El Brujo" and then continue towards the village of Sipan where we can appreciate its archeological centers with remains of a once magnificent complex of the Moche culture.

Day 19: CHICLAYO / PIURA OR TUMBES BEACH
Breakfast. Trip to Piura. Transfer to the hotel in the beach.

Day 20: PIURA OR TUMBES / BEACHES.
Breakfast in the hotel.
At leisure. Enjoy the paradisiacal beaches, white sand and warm water. You can practice water sports or land sports. Lunch and dinner.

Day 21: PIURA / BEACHES.
Breakfast in the hotel. At leisure
Optional: With an additional payment you can get:
- Excursion to medicinal baths.
- Excursion to the Bird Island, Whale´s Bone.
- Excursion and fishing in launch.

Day 22: PIURA / LIMA
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 23: LIMA ……
Breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the airport to take the flight to home.
